It is time to assemble our team as the ultimate club versus club challenge returns for 2016.
Will Cleadon give the other clubs a run for there money or will Oxford Archers win a hat-trick of back to back titles?
The ontarget club competition starts in April, and Cleadon has been drawn at home to North East Archers (awaiting there response to our invitation)
Now a few words from Archery GB and some links to tournament information.
Get involved and make 2016 the biggest and best year yet. The competition comprises of a series of knockout rounds and a Finals event, allowing clubs and archers to meet new people you may not have come across. It also opens up the opportunity for team bonding, fun and the chance to experience shooting in other parts of the country. The winning club will receive a trophy and £500 prize money. The runner up will also receive a plate and £250 prize money. All ontarget clubs are automatically entered into the ontarget Club Competition. If you can not take part you forfeit and your opposition advances to the next round. But you don’t want them to do that, do you?

Frequently Asked Questions
So if your a recurve or compound archer and interested in taking part please speak to Alan (Dug) Dunnighan on any club night or email email@example.com to register your participation. Once all the names are collected a team will be selected on a per round basis so it will probably change as we progress through the competition stages.
On Friday 15th January 2016 the following committee roles became vacant.
Therefore the club and committee are looking for any member that would like to put themselves forward to take up one of these roles until the next AGM.
If you wish to be put forward for either of these roles please contact Alan Dunnighan who will inform the committee.

The organiser want as many archers as possible submitting their best score for a portsmouth round shot during the month of January. Archers can shoot as many times as they like – just submit their best scores for each bow type they shoot.
Section winners will get a small trophies!
There are no separate categories for juniors but please indicate your age if you want to rub it in how well they shoot compared with the adults.
Please submit your best Portsmouth score from January including hits, golds, name, bow type, sex and age if junior to Alan Dunnighan by the 1st of February either at the club or via the following email firstname.lastname@example.org
Good shooting everyone.
