The other members who were placed were Alan Hudson 8th Gents Recurve, Craig Harris 8th Gent Compound and Bill Lee 3rd Gents Longbow. Well done to all and it was great to see so many Cleadon archers on the line.
What a wonderful weekend we had for the Longbow fraternity. Dry and sunny on both days, a ‘little’ damp under foot but not enough to dampen the enthusiasm of the hardy longbow archers who had travelled from all over the country to take part in the 2 tournaments. The ‘Jimmy Melvin Memorial’ on the Saturday and the ‘EAF Longbow Championships’ on the Sunday. Photographs, courtesy of our judge, Steve Richardson, are on the links below.
